Meet the Principal

PAIGE WILLIAMS LESTER

Paige Lester came to AppleTree in August of 2015 as a Lead Teacher at AppleTree’s Douglas Knoll campus. She has a wealth of experience in early childhood education. Mrs. Lester began teaching in the Baltimore City Public School system in 2010 as a Kindergarten teacher. She then returned to Washington, D.C., to become a Pre-Kindergarten teacher, where she served students and families in Wards 5 and 8. While in the classroom, Mrs. Lester served as a Mentor Teacher for four years, providing support to new and veteran teachers. She has a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Howard University and a Master of Education with a focus on Educational Leadership from Strayer University.

Mrs. Lester is very excited to be the Founding Resident Principal at AppleTree@Rocketship Infinity and is looking forward to partnering with parents to create a wonderful school year for all children and families.
