AppleTree Early Learning Public Charter School is an engaging, full-day, tuition-free public charter preschool welcoming all children living in the District of Columbia.
Secure your child’s seat at AppleTree Early Learning Public Charter School (AELPCS) for SY21! Please complete the following online registration form. Please update any information. Once you have completed this first step, your campus Operations Coordinator will inform you of the next steps. We will begin to collect updated enrollment documents and school compliance documents starting April 1. If you would like to transfer to another AELPCS, you will need to apply through the lottery as well as complete this process.
Please note, your intent to return to AppleTree does not prevent you from participating in the DC lottery; however, should you fail to complete the re-enrollment registration, your child’s seat will be forfeited as of March 2. We know school choice is your choice, and we hope AppleTree is that choice!”
SY21 My School DC (MSDC) Lottery begins Dec 16th and will continue for PK-8th grade through March 2nd.
Matched families, please follow the instructions below. You will have from April 1-May 1st to secure your child’s enrollment. Should you fail to comply, your child’s seat will be given to families on our waitlist starting May 2, 2020.
These instructions are repeated in your offer letter and they are without exception, so please secure your child’s seat by (1) completing your online registration, (2) submitting your DC proof of residency to the central office and (3) submitting the required documents to your campus. You have five (5) business days to complete and secure your child’s seat for SY20. The required documents are:
New and Returning Families
***Please note. All new AppleTree Early Learning Public Charter School (AELPCS) families and returning families enrolling new students must first submit proof of DC residency at our Home Office located at 1801 Mississippi Ave, Third Floor, SE. After your DC residency has been accepted and approved, you will be given a residency completion ticket to then go to your matched campus and submit the school required documents. PROOF OF DC RESIDENCY MUST BE APPROVED BY HOME OFFICE to CONTINUE THE PROCESS TO SECURE YOUR CHILD’S ENROLLMENT. This process is without exceptions.
