Where to begin? Below are some key facts about AppleTree and a selection of our marketing materials.

AppleTree is a data-driven, solution-focused organization. If we say something is “fact”, we have the data to prove it.


AppleTree children recognize 25% more letters in kindergarten, have better oral reading fluency in 1st grade, and are stronger oral readers by 2nd grade than their peers.


In 2010, the US Department of Education validated AppleTree’s efforts by awarding it a highly competitive $5 million Investing in Innovation (i3) grant.


AppleTree’s innovative program has four core components: a focus on instructional quality, a standards-based curriculum, quality classrooms and a commitment to using data.


Children who are most at risk for reading difficulties make the greatest gains in AppleTree’s program.


AppleTree Early Learning Public Charter School serves 640 children at seven campuses in the District of Columbia.
