Become a Teaching Fellow

We’re hiring Teaching Fellows for the 2017-2018 school year!

Do you have determination to succeed, creativity, initiative, passion for social justice, and a strong desire to improve the educational outcomes of young children? Are you interested in a teaching career?

Apply to become an AppleTree Teaching Fellow!

The AppleTree Teaching Fellows program is an innovative approach designed to prepare you for a career in teaching through hands-on experiences in the classroom. During the first year of the program, you will work closely with a teacher as a classroom apprentice and join in focused practice with a cohort of AppleTree Fellows across our network. During the second year, you’ll have the opportunity to interview and transition to become a Lead Teacher. Through a partnership with Relay Graduate School of Education, Fellows take weekly classes that can lead to a Master of Arts in Teaching after two years.
